Cedric Soares, Mohamed Elneny and Arthur Okonkwo are also expected to depart when their contracts expire on June 1. The report goes on to add that Arsenal are willing to back Arteta again following a significant spend on the likes of Jurrien Timber, Declan Rice and Kai Havertz last summer.

Newcastle and Chelsea have been linked with the former Sheffield United and Bournemouth stopper.
