Messi is front and centre in adidas’ ‘XCRAZYFAST’ campaign, with the Argentine icon supposedly seeing a billboard featuring his famous face unfurled on an international space station floating high above the Earth.
DID YOU KNOW?
Messi, with his feet firmly on the ground, features prominently in the video as Mission Control inform him that the station in question is orbiting at an altitude of 400km and racing along at 7800 metres per second. The World Cup winner says “great job” after seeing the banner deployed, before stating that the “billboard is incredible” and that he has “always wanted to go to space”.

Adidas first signed Messi up back in 2006, after seeing him burst onto the scene at Barcelona, and he is now a global ambassador for the brand. The all-time great has continued to make plenty of headlines on the field in 2023, with a historic Leagues Cup triumph delivered at Inter Miami on the back of his stunning move to the United States.
